possible? Southwire Job DescriptionThe Talent Acquisition
Specialist will partner with the Talent Acquisition Manager to
provide excellent customer service and recruiting to assigned
Southwire locations while meeting the needs of the business. The
focus for the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be on
communication, candidate sourcing/screening, and recruitment
process effectiveness. Key Responsibilities --- Oversee the full
cycle of recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing,
testing (if applicable), and offers to candidates for both hourly
and salary positions. Maintains and ensures compliance with
applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related
employment laws and regulations. --- Consult with hiring managers
to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired
for the specified position(s). --- Identifies the most effective
methods for recruiting and attracting candidates. Post job ads on
the company's website, social media channels, and relevant job
boards. Partner with 3rd party recruitment sources as needed. ---
Evaluate resumes, cover letters, and job applications. Arranges
interviews, travel, and/or accommodations for applicants when
needed. --- Conduct interviews and evaluate the candidates' skills,
knowledge, and experience. Follows up with hiring managers and
business partners after the interview process to determine whether
a placement can be made. --- Liaison between the candidate and the
company during and throughout the interview process. --- Manage and
update systems/spreadsheets for all assigned open requisitions. ---
Evaluate process improvement efforts to increase customer service
to all stakeholders through collaboration and communication. ---
Pull, analyze, and report data findings regarding recruiting
performance, geographic data, and needs of each role as needed.
Qualifications and Experience --- Bachelor's degree --- 5+ years
related experience --- Effective communication skills ---
Organized, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task --- Ability and
understanding of how to recruit both active and passive candidates.
