Backend Scala Software Engineer

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Scala Backend Software Engineer to join their backend development team.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with product managers and teammates to design and deliver new features
Write clean, readable, and well-tested code for SaaS RESTful APIs
Participate in pair programming sessions and automate testing and deployment processes

Required Qualifications

B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
4+ years of experience with modern programming languages (Java, C#, JavaScript, or Scala)
2+ years of hands-on Scala functional programming in an enterprise environment
Experience building RESTful applications
Familiarity with microservices architecture
