TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Rehab RN in Fort Worth, Texas, 76104 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Inpatient Rehabilitation Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience; preference for 2 years in an inpatient hospital setting---medical-surgical, stepdown, critical care, or inpatient rehabilitation nursing License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - Willingness to learn specialty patient mobilization skills - Willingness to complete rehabilitation-specific documentation - Good attention to detail and willingness to be coached Job Description: - Care for patients in a neurological, cardiac, and/or orthopedic adult population - Provide nursing care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting - Experience in long-term acute care (LTACH) nursing is advantageous - Perform procedures such as urinary catheterization, peripheral IV insertions, blood administration, and wound dressing changes - Handle surgical drain removal, suture/staple removal, and other medical-surgical nursing procedures as advised - Maintain compliance with facility-issued PPE, including N95 masks and face shields - Adhere to the dress code, which includes wearing royal blue scrubs in good condition - Apply policies on tattoos, piercings, and nail hygiene as per guidelines - Fulfill floating requirements to other medical-surgical units as needed - Embrace the role of patient advocate by ensuring high-quality care and excellent patient experiences Please ensure all application materials are complete for consideration. 26035700EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Core Competency Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
