    Responsibilities
    
    
    • Completes patient care tasks as directed by the Registered Nurse and assists in providing quality care to a patient population ranging from age newborn to geriatric. -
    • Functions as a member of a multidisciplinary team and assists in ensuring that each patient receives care appropriate to his/her illness or injury. -
    • Assists the nursing staff in providing patient care consistent with physician's orders, Departmental protocols, and in accordance with hospital and departmental policy. -
      Qualifications
      
      Job Requirements:
      • High school diploma or equivalent required
      • Successful completion EMT-Paramedic certificationEMT, Paramedic or LVN LicensureBasic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) requiredACLS certification requiredPreferred Requirements:
        Previous hospital or health care setting experience preferredPALS certification preferred
